Each client tier includes a set number of **human advisor seats** — the partners who can be assigned to a client's advisory team. Trial, Pulse AI, and Access tiers include 1 seat; the Partner tier includes 3; the Executive tier includes 5. As a platform administrator, you can adjust these numbers at any time from the Pricing configuration page.

**💡 Tip — Pulse AI never uses a seat**
Every client automatically gets the Pulse AI advisor on its team — it doesn't count against the seat limit. An Access-tier client with Pulse AI still has its full 1 human seat available.

## Step 1: Open Pricing

In the Admin Portal, go to **Pricing**. The page lists every configurable pricing parameter, grouped by area. Find the **Partner Seats** group — it shows one entry per tier (Trial, Pulse AI, Access, Partner, Executive).

## Step 2: Edit the Partner Seats values

Enter the number of human partner seats each tier should include. The current value is pre-filled; leave a field unchanged to keep it.

**📝 Note — What the seats control**
The seat count appears wherever partners are assigned to a client — the client detail page's advisory team section and the onboarding review — as the maximum number of human partners that can be assigned.

## Step 3: Save with a reason

Enter a change reason (at least 10 characters) and save. The new seat counts take effect immediately wherever clients' advisory teams are managed.

**❗ Important — Changing seats doesn't reassign anyone**
Adjusting a tier's seat count changes the limit for future assignments; partners already assigned to a client are untouched. If you lower a limit below a client's current partner count, that client simply can't add more until it's back within the limit.

**📝 Note — Pulse AI stays automatic**
Regardless of the seat numbers you set, the Pulse AI advisor remains on every client's team automatically and is never visible in seat counts.
